1. Company and scope
These Terms govern chauffeur and private transportation services contracted through prominentlimousine.es with Prominent Limousine S.L., NIF B22994057, Av. Diagonal 449, 4t, 08036 Barcelona, Spain. Prominent Limousine S.L. is the contracting and invoicing entity.
The .es website is the Spanish booking platform. Instant pricing and online payment are limited to the configured Spanish and approved cross-border service area. Other journeys may be offered by individual quotation; worldwide services may be coordinated through suitable partners and are not represented as necessarily operated with Prominent-owned vehicles. A separate worldwide platform is planned for prominentlimousine.com.
2. Booking, prices and payment
A request is subject to availability and validation. Online prices are in EUR, include 10% Spanish VAT (IVA), and are paid 100% in advance through Stripe. Cash is not accepted through the online process.
A booking becomes contractually confirmed only after payment succeeds and the booking system accepts and confirms it. A browser redirect or success page alone is not proof of payment; the server-side Stripe confirmation workflow is authoritative.
3. Cancellation
Cancellation received before the applicable deadline receives a 100% refund. Cancellation received at or after the deadline—within the applicable cancellation period—is non-refundable and 100% of the relevant booking value is retained. The deadline is measured backwards from the scheduled service time.
- 1–4 vehicles: 24 hours
- 5–8 vehicles: 72 hours (3 days)
- 9–29 vehicles: 168 hours (7 days)
- 30 or more vehicles: 720 hours (30 days)
- Expressly agreed written terms for a custom event programme may supersede this table.
4. Airport pickups
A correct flight number is mandatory. Airport pickup includes 60 minutes of free waiting calculated according to the booking system’s flight-arrival/service logic. Prominent may monitor the supplied flight. A flight delay does not itself create a waiting charge when correct flight information was supplied.
Where applicable, the chauffeur waits in the relevant terminal or arrivals area with an iPad/name sign. After the included period, waiting is charged at the vehicle’s hourly rental rate plus a €15 airport-parking surcharge for each started 30-minute period. If the passenger cannot be contacted or does not appear after 60 minutes, the service may be treated as a no-show. Incorrect or missing flight information prevents reliable delay monitoring.
5. Non-airport pickups and no-show
Non-airport pickups include 15 minutes of free waiting. If the passenger neither appears nor contacts Prominent within that period, the booking may be treated as a no-show. If continued waiting is requested, the full vehicle hourly rate applies in whole started-hour increments; for example, 20 additional minutes may be charged as one hour.
6. Hourly / as-directed service
Barcelona hourly and disposal bookings have a four-hour minimum. Each booked hour includes 20 kilometres. Additional time is billed by whole started hours. Routes, inclusions and excess-distance treatment remain subject to the confirmed quotation and centralized booking rules.
7. Additional costs
Unless expressly included, parking, tolls, ferries, congestion or access charges, and mandatory local fees may be added. If the customer directly provides and pays suitable driver accommodation, no Prominent accommodation fee applies. If Prominent arranges it, the charge is €150 per driver per night plus a €30 per-driver per diem for each applicable day.
8. Passengers, luggage, child seats and pets
The customer must select a lawful and safe vehicle capacity for passengers, luggage and special equipment. Prominent will not overload a vehicle. If luggage cannot safely fit, another vehicle or external taxi may be required and its cost is payable by the customer unless expressly included.
Child seats are free but must be requested in advance with suitable child information. Pets require advance notice and an appropriate carrier or protective transport arrangement where required.
9. Vehicle substitution
For technical, operational, safety or circumstances outside reasonable control, Prominent may substitute the booked vehicle, normally with the same or a higher category. An E-Class may be replaced with a V-Class where operationally appropriate. A Prominent-initiated substitution does not itself create an additional customer charge. Exact make or model is not guaranteed unless expressly agreed.
10. Conduct, alcohol and smoking
Reasonable alcohol consumption may be permitted where lawful. Prominent or the chauffeur may refuse or terminate service where intoxication, violence, threats, harassment, serious abuse, dangerous behaviour, disruption or risk of damage affects safety or service. A passenger may be excluded from future service.
Smoking, including cigarettes, cigars, vaping and e-cigarettes, is prohibited. Breach gives rise to a €500 contractual cleaning/deodorising charge, plus documented additional legally recoverable damage where actual loss exceeds it.
Serious aggressive or abusive conduct causing material disruption or intervention carries a €1,000 contractual charge, subject to applicable law, without excluding proven additional recoverable loss. LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED before production.
11. Damage and excessive cleaning
A passenger who intentionally or negligently damages a vehicle may be refused future service. A €1,000 base contractual damage charge applies, subject to applicable law, together with documented legally recoverable repair costs, insurance excess or deductible, uninsured loss and downtime. LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED before production.
Vomiting, extreme contamination or extraordinary cleaning carries a €300 cleaning charge. Documented additional cleaning or damage may be recovered where actual loss materially exceeds that amount and applicable law permits.
12. Events and service termination
Multi-vehicle programmes require accurate schedules, passenger contacts and operational instructions. Prominent may refuse or terminate a service where continuing would be unlawful, unsafe, seriously disruptive or expose people or property to material risk. Charges and refunds remain subject to applicable consumer law and the circumstances.
13. Circumstances outside reasonable control
Prominent is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events it could not reasonably prevent, including severe weather, major road closures, government restrictions, civil emergencies, serious traffic or airport disruption, and unavoidable technical failure. Prominent will take reasonable steps to mitigate disruption, communicate and provide an appropriate substitute where practicable. This clause does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Liability and complaints
Liability is assessed under applicable law and these Terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be limited. Customers should promptly report service concerns and provide the booking reference and supporting information to info@prominentlimousine.es. Liability wording requires final Spanish legal review.
15. Law, jurisdiction and changes
Spanish law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available to them. Courts and jurisdiction are determined under applicable consumer and procedural rules; this wording requires legal review. Updated Terms apply prospectively and the accepted version is stored with the booking.
